Sweden's national anthem has no officially established lyrics.

That's true! The Swedish national anthem, "Du gamla, Du fria" ("Thou ancient, Thou free"), despite its deep roots in the public consciousness, has never been officially adopted by law or parliamentary decision. It has become the national anthem through tradition and popular use, thus lacking formal legal status. This makes Sweden one of the few countries in the world without a legally established national anthem.
