How Find the Number Works

When the game starts, a target number and a grid of similar numbers appear. Scan the grid and tap the number that matches the target.

Finding the right number immediately advances you to the next challenge. The game consists of 10 challenges with increasing difficulty, featuring larger grids and numbers that are harder to distinguish.

The goal is to clear all 10 as fast as possible.

Rules & Timing

Speed matters – but misclicks cost time.

The clock starts when you begin playing and stops when you complete the tenth challenge. Your total time is measured with millisecond precision.

+2 seconds penalty for misclicks

Clicking the wrong number adds two penalty seconds. Precision and speed go hand in hand.

Tips for a faster time

1. Scan in zones

Don't read every tile individually. Look for subtle differences in the shape of the numbers.

2. Avoid misclicks at all costs

Pausing 0.5 seconds to confirm the right number is always better than taking a 2-second time penalty.

3. Memorize the target number immediately

Lock your eyes onto the target number before looking down at the grid so you don't have to glance back and forth.
