Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to the use of Funquizo and the websites, games, quizzes, multiplayer features, account features, and other services provided through Funquizo, collectively referred to as the “Service”.

By creating a Funquizo account, you agree to these Terms of Use. You should therefore read the terms before creating an account.

1. About Funquizo

Funquizo is a web-based service for quizzes, questions, riddles, games, and other activities for entertainment and learning. The Service includes both content provided by Funquizo and features where registered users can create their own quizzes.

Parts of Funquizo can be used without an account. Some features, such as creating and saving your own quizzes, require a user account.

2. Free Service

Funquizo is currently free to use.

There may be various limitations for free accounts, for example, regarding the number of quizzes, questions, participants, or available features.

Funquizo may introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future. Such an introduction does not in itself mean that existing users become liable for payment. Before a user purchases a paid service, the applicable prices and payment terms will be presented.

These terms currently do not contain any specific payment or subscription terms.

3. Age and Account

Funquizo may contain games and content intended for users of different ages. Normally, no account is required to participate in a quiz or multiplayer game.

You must be at least 16 years old to create a Funquizo account.

When you create an account, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and that the information you provide is correct.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs through your account. If you suspect that an unauthorized person has gained access to your account, you should change your password and contact Funquizo.

You may not transfer, sell, or otherwise give anyone else control over your account in a manner that violates these terms.

4. User-Created Quizzes and Other Content

Registered users can create and store their own quizzes and other content in the Service.

You are responsible for the content you create or provide through Funquizo.

User-created quizzes are not published publicly or made searchable on Funquizo. Other people can only access a quiz when the user chooses to share or play it through Funquizo's sharing or multiplayer features.

Funquizo's authorized administrators may, if necessary, access and review user-created quizzes. This may occur, for example, to handle reports, investigate suspected misuse, check compliance with these terms, protect the Service, or fulfill legal obligations.

Funquizo does not pre-screen user-created quizzes. Review may occur as needed, as described above.

You may only use material that you yourself have the right to use. This means, among other things, that you may not use text, images, or other material in a way that infringes on another person's copyright, trademark, or other rights.

User-created content must not:

- be illegal or incite illegal activity,

- infringe on anyone else's intellectual property rights,

- contain threats, harassment, hate, or seriously offensive material,

- contain pornographic or otherwise overtly inappropriate sexual content,

- impersonate another person or organization in a misleading way,

- contain malicious code or material intended to disrupt the Service, or

- otherwise be used to harm other users or Funquizo.

Funquizo has the right to remove or restrict access to content that violates these terms or applicable law.

5. Who owns the user's quizzes?

You retain the rights to content that you yourself create.

By storing or using content on Funquizo, you grant Funquizo the limited right necessary to technically provide the Service. This may mean, for example, that Funquizo may store, copy, process, transmit, and display the content for you and the people with whom you choose to play or share the quiz.

This right does not mean that Funquizo assumes ownership of your content.

If Funquizo offers the opportunity to publish quizzes publicly in the future, the user will need to choose to make the content public according to the features and terms then applicable.

6. Funquizo's Content and Rights

Funquizo's software, design, graphics, logos, trademarks, texts, games, quizzes, and other content provided by Funquizo belong to Funquizo or its respective rights holders, unless otherwise stated.

Using Funquizo does not mean that you acquire ownership of this material.

You may use the Service for its intended purpose but may not, without permission, copy, distribute, sell, or otherwise commercially exploit Funquizo's material beyond what is permitted by law or expressly offered through the Service.

This does not limit your rights to content that you yourself have created.

7. Permitted Use

You may use Funquizo for private, educational, and professional purposes in accordance with the Service's features.

However, you may not:

- attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, servers, databases, or other parts of the Service,

- manipulate multiplayer results, scores, or other game data,

- use hacks, bots, or other tools to manipulate the Service,

- bypass security features, usage restrictions, or other technical protections,

- use automated systems in a way that causes unreasonable load on the Service,

- spread spam or malicious code through Funquizo,

- attempt to disrupt or impair the Service's function or other users' use, or

- use Funquizo for illegal purposes.

Normal use of search engines and other legitimate services is not affected by this provision.

8. Multiplayer

Funquizo offers features where multiple people can participate in the same quiz or game.

Participants can, for example, connect via a game code or QR code without creating a Funquizo account.

You may not intentionally manipulate scores, results, response times, or other parts of the multiplayer system.

Funquizo may correct or remove results that have been manipulated or arisen due to technical errors or unauthorized use.

9. Ads

Funquizo is a free service and may be wholly or partly financed through ads.

Ads may appear on Funquizo's public websites, in connection with quizzes and games, and in parts of the Service that require login.

Ads and offers from third parties may be subject to the respective third party's own terms.

Information about any processing of personal data, cookies, and similar technologies in connection with advertising can be found in Funquizo's privacy and cookie information.

10. External Services and Links

Funquizo may contain links to or features that depend on third-party websites and services.

Funquizo is not responsible for the content or availability of external services that Funquizo does not control. When you use an external service, that provider's own terms and privacy policy may apply.

11. Reporting Illegal or Infringing Content

If you believe that user-created content on Funquizo is illegal or infringes on your copyright, trademark, or any other right, you can contact Funquizo at info@funquizo.com.

Please specify as clearly as possible:

- what content it concerns,

- where the content is located,

- why you believe the content is illegal or infringes on your rights,

- what right you have to the material, if the report concerns intellectual property rights, and

- how we can contact you.

Funquizo may review the report and take appropriate action, such as restricting access to or removing the content.

12. Suspension and Termination of Account

You can terminate your Funquizo account according to the features available in the Service or by contacting us.

Funquizo may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account if the user seriously or repeatedly violates these terms, uses the Service illegally, attempts to harm or manipulate the Service, or if the action is otherwise required by law.

When reasonable and applicable, we will inform the user of the reason for the action.

What happens to personal data after an account is terminated is described in Funquizo's Privacy Policy.

13. Availability and Changes to the Service

Funquizo is continuously developing. We may add, change, or remove features, content, and technical solutions.

We may also need to temporarily restrict access to all or parts of the Service for, for example, maintenance, security work, or technical issues.

Funquizo strives for the Service to function reliably but does not guarantee that it will always be available or completely free from errors.

Changes affecting users' statutory rights are handled in accordance with applicable law. Swedish rules on digital services may in some situations limit how a provider may change a digital service, which is a reason not to write an unlimited unilateral right to change.

14. Quizzes, Questions, and Information

Funquizo contains material for entertainment and learning.

We strive for information, questions, and answers to be correct and of good quality, but errors or outdated information may occur.

The respective creators are responsible for user-created quizzes according to these terms. Funquizo does not necessarily review user-created quizzes before they are used.

Information on Funquizo should not be considered professional medical, legal, financial, or other individual advice.

15. Limitation of Liability

Funquizo is not responsible for problems caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as major operational disruptions at external providers, internet outages, government actions, or other extraordinary events.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Funquizo is not responsible for indirect losses arising from the use of a free Service.

Nothing in these terms limits liability or rights that, according to applicable law, may not be limited or waived.

16. Personal Data

The processing of personal data is regulated separately in Funquizo's Privacy Policy.

There, we describe, among other things, what personal data is processed, why it is processed, how long it is stored, and what rights you have.

By creating an account, you confirm that you have had the opportunity to read the Privacy Policy.

17. Changes to the Terms of Use

Funquizo may need to update these terms when the Service develops, when new features are introduced, or when legislation changes.

The current version of the terms will always be available on Funquizo.

In case of significant changes affecting registered users, we will inform them appropriately. When required, the user may need to accept a new version of the terms for continued use of certain account features.

Date and version number are stated at the top of the terms.

18. Applicable Law and Consumer Rights

These terms shall primarily be interpreted according to Swedish law.

If you are a consumer in another country, this does not affect the mandatory consumer rights you have under applicable law and which cannot be waived through these terms.

If a dispute arises, we encourage you to first contact Funquizo so that we can try to resolve the issue.

19. Miscellaneous

If any provision in these terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, it does not automatically affect the validity of other provisions.

Funquizo is not responsible for delays or interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
