True or False
Cleopatra was an Egyptian pharaoh of Egyptian descent.
It's a common misconception that Cleopatra was ethnically Egyptian. She was the last active pharaoh of the Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt, but she was of Greek-Macedonian descent, a descendant of Ptolemy I Soter, one of Alexander the Great's generals. Her dynasty ruled Egypt for nearly 300 years after Alexander's conquest.
