This sounds incredible, but it's true! Venus rotates extremely slowly. A Venusian day, meaning one rotation on its own axis, takes about 243 Earth days. Meanwhile, a Venusian year, its orbit around the sun, takes approximately 225 Earth days. This makes Venus unique in its slow rotation compared to its orbital period.
