True or False
Bananas are actually berries, according to science.
It sounds strange, but it's true! According to scientists who study plants (botanists), a banana is a berry. To be a true berry, a fruit must have seeds inside and grow from a single flower. A banana does just that! Many of the fruits we call berries every day, like strawberries, are not actually berries scientifically, but bananas are. Fun fact, right?
